The Chariot reminds you to focus on your goals, which you are heading for, full speed ahead! Be careful, though. An analogy in the Bhagavad Gita says that the chariot is the mind, the horses are the senses, and the soul is asleep in the passenger seat. If you let your senses guide the chariot, they may lead you to constantly chase only after pleasant experiences. By connecting with yourself and your soul, you will know the direction you want to take. Use the steadiness of your breath and connect with your senses. You will then be able to choose where you want to focus your drive and energy.
When reversed, The Chariot tells you that you are asleep at the wheel. Take some time to tune into the direction you want to take, and guide your senses that way. You may feel directionless or disconnected from your body. A clue for me that I needed to do some work to connect with myself is that someone asked me what I liked and I honestly could not tell them. I was so preoccupied with trying to control my body that it consumed my personality. By connecting with my body, I could then connect with my true self.
